Or IE7 in short, is the new browser by Microsoft, set to replace the old IE6.

There are a few good new things in IE7 but nothing that you haven?t experienced in other browsers. Like there is Tabbed browsing, Anti-Phishing filters, Inbuilt feed reader and that?s all I guess.
What?s so good about IE7?
Its tab browsing feature, though a standard now in all browsers worth their code, is quite good. It has the complete force-to-open-in-tab-alone feature which many browsers still lack. Apart from that, the anti-phishing filter is good for the careless surfer. The feed reader however, isn?t really very impressive and I?d suggest going an alternative way. The last good thing about it is its total simplicity like IE6, good for a newbie, and its new icon. That?s all IE7?s worth IMO. And also, its now fast as other browsers are. IE has just learnt and stepped up its stone-age pace but its still not ahead of others in the race.
What?s bad?
First, its an IE. Numbers may change but the mind doesn?t.
Also, closing tabs without opening them is possible only if you have the middle click on your mouse. This is irritating for people who don?t have such a mouse. I don?t want to talk about browser memory cause its hardly an issue now, all have more than 512 MB of RAM these days and that is sufficient for any browser to run smooth. Just for records, one page opened, it takes 41 MB.
Overall?
If you ask me, this version is good for an IE, but late in its age, it doesn?t have anything really very innovative, like Firefox?s extensions and themes and Opera?s widgets and looks. Its worth an install but not worth the shift if you were using another browser except IE6. If you are already sworn by IE6, get blind and use IE7, its made for you alone.
Get IE7 if you wish.

I also installed IE7 and found it much better than IE6 but Opera rulez for me as it is my primary browser and Firefox is secondary browser.

I heard you had to restart your computer for the installation to take effect and to also turn off your firewall. Freakin’ crazy. I swear Microsoft is intent on infecting our computers with viruses that pop and say “MICR0S0F7 RULZ” or something.

Hey Qwerty , sorry I couldn’t drop by more quickly ! Was addicted to Warcraft///
Cool , you got your own domain! IE 7′s tabbing capacity is limited by your RAM , quite unlike Opera which has unlimited tabbing!

congrats on getting a domain…
i have installed IE7 just for the sake of installing it. i rarely use it. Firefox and Opera both rule. I am already addicted to FireFox 2. i couldn find anything new since beta 3, when they changed the rendering code. what’s new. there is still no download manager.
i frankly dont care bout IE. even if they implement everything in FF and Opera, i’ll never switch.

@Shivaranjan – Anything but IE eh?
@Wengi – You heard right, haha!
@teen – Yeah thats true but I never get around opening more than 25 tabs, do you?
@sauron – If they have loads of addons available and if the security increases, it’d be still safe to use IE. But those are just dreams, I know

This browser would have been wacko if it were released five years back.
