So till now we all thought that the Source Viewer in Mozilla Firefox was something like GEdit or Notepad… But today, while fooling around in the browser, I found this:

All I did was type a gibberish site name like http://www.kdshfksahfkjsdf.com and then when the Server Not Found screen appeared, I went to View > Page Source. It took some time loading and showed this screen. My question is, why a screen like this for the source and not a blank page instead?

Well,
I wouldn’t really call that a bug, you know.
The “Page not found” is an error message rather than a “page”. So FF cannot go look for the “source” of that and hence again shows a Page not found.
Or maybe I am wrong. Who knows :-s

@DJ and Kalpik – But my point wasn’t exactly that. Indeed it isn’t a bug at all, it was just my way of telling a weird part of code
But what I actually meant is, is that a normal editor or a mini-browser in itself? Rohit @ http://www.visualreactor.org says its something to do with the editor being dynamic?
