Below I’ve reviewed a few themes I found while browsing the Codex and other theme sites.

Vistered Little : You must have seen this theme in action at quite a few places. Looks real good but for a narrow reading area and slow loading of the post backgrounds and borders which hampers quick readablity.

Chaotic Soul : A beautiful and officially another WordPress.com theme, its split header style can do wonders if provided with the right picture! Though its a dark theme, the colors are just as fine and readable like K2 is.

PixelGreen : A neat 2 column green theme. The only changes you might need to do for your color preferences are, to edit the link and header color CSS. Rest is as good as the top themes, and can be customized easily too!

Water : A soothing theme, header to be more specific. Apart from the bad fonts which can of course, be changed in the style.css file, this theme is another good one to use. And while you’re going blue, you can check the Sky3c too.

Cordobo Green Park (Beta) : By default, I think it looks like an XBOX 360. But if you look beyond the greens, this theme has good stuff too, just edit the greens out if you dont like it and you have a fantastic theme. I, for one, like the default as it is too. Only, the green could’ve been darker.

CLI 1.0 : This is a fantastic-and-weird-at-the-same-time theme. It presents to the visitor a CLI through which he can interact as he does with the Linux Terminal! Like, if he wants GUI he can type startx, the command actually used in Linux to start the GUI! I dont, however, think this theme can be used by anyone except hardcore terminal addicts online, cause its kind of a pain-in-the-head reading the help commands and choosing one. But still, you could install this on your local WP installation and have some fun adding commands, etc and fooling around with it.

AquaFluid 1.6 : AquaFluid, a 2 column WordPress theme, looks pretty soothing, like the water theme above. Apart from the slightly out-of-place sidebar coloring, its another good theme to use, thanks to its wide and readable interface. Also check out FlyAway, a good great naturistic theme.

Wiiiii 1.0 : Wiiiii, as you must have guessed it right, is a Nintendo Wii inspired theme. Its milky white and looks just like a Wii with the blues involved. Couple this up with your favorite Nintendo game’s header and you’re the new big fan of it out on the net! Oh, and remember to change the fonts, to some better curvy style like Trebuchet MS.

OnlinePortfolio : This surely is a neat theme! It looks fantastic in all its aspects. The only part I didnt actually like were the font sizes, but that can be easily changed!

Point_Blank 1.0 : Point_Blank is for the dark theme lovers. It features a nice header painting by miloIIIIVII (Whoever he could be), and a Black and Red interface.

As for me, I’ve started editing a copy of the Freshy theme what WordPress.com made official a few days ago. It’s gonna take effect here by may, the month of Spider-Man
