Update: Linkin Park‘s official site now has a small intro preview of the same ‘What I’ve Done‘ and so does their MySpace. Go listen to it now!
Telling that the sample wasn’t so hard like QWERTY was doesn’t do it justice since it was too small to judge! I did feel left out wanting more though!
Also, a video for the same song has been made as reports say, its been shot by DJ Joe Hahn (Director) in the Californian Desert. Video-Static managed to find a picture of On-The-Set Joe Hahn as well:

Plus, from MTV, a small interview says:
In an interview with MTV, Chester Bennington said that the song would be different from previous Linkin Park songs: “The drums are much more raw, the guitars are more raw and the vocals aren’t tripled. It’s just us out there … and that’s how Rick [Rubin, album producer] wanted it.” Bennington also revealed the first line of the song: ‘In this farewell, there is no blood, there is no alibi’.
What I’ve Done is Linkin Park‘s newest single to hit the world on April 2nd 2007. Its gonna be a track on their upcoming Minutes To Midnight album as well. Its been 3 years nearly since Linkin Park released their last single, called ‘Numb/Encore’ with Jay-Z for the album Collision Course which in my opinion was not too good.

Ehh ?
The clip ended even before I got a feel of it.
It _does_ sound different, but its hard to make out.
I’m waiting for the album more than I’m waiting for my xams to get over.
I wish LP flies down for a concert here..

whoa.. lp sounds way different in this 30-second clip. it doesn’t feel like lp anymore, but that’s only 1 song and need not represent the flavour of the whole album. i really hope they maintain some of their hard rock riffs and rap-rock elements.

well judging by the song Qwerty, the album may be a little more varied. also, with a new producer, the cd will sound WAY different. i would be happy with a new cd with songs that sound EXACTLY as they did on the 1st two LP albums, but they’ve decided to take a change. when making a cd as commercial as they are, you have to make something that satisfies you, as well as something that interests the general public. also, i believe that since mike had his Fort Minor project, this will be more rock. i’ll buy it!

Qwerty isn’t going on the album and it’s just a quick song they wrote so it kind of makes you wonder if any songs will be somewhat similar genre-wise. I personally am looking forward to their new single, it sounds good.

called ‘Numb/Encore’ with Jay-Z for the album Collision Course which in my opinion was not too good.
Are you serious? Im guessing your one of thoughs screamo fans who dont like hip hop vibes. I thought the song was amazing and while the albulm itself may not of lived up to the hype there were a few songs on there that were VERY good. Im guessing you werent a Fort Minor fan either =(
Anyways thoughts on the new albulm or What Ive Done is that i really like it. Yes its a new side of LP but with the first two CDs as good as they were you could of put a Meteora song on Hybrid Theory and you wouldnt be able to tell the difference. Im sure there will be nu metal on the albulm but from What Ive Done it seems there will be more of a alternative rock vibe. One thing i wasnt too sure about was the way Chester looked in the video. While the video was amazing did Chester not look like the next Bono and it made the band look like U2 i thought. I mean atleast give the mic stand some air.
I just wish i didnt have to wait a month to get the other 11 songs. =(

firstly ill say im a massive LP fan and secondly ill say im deeply dissapointed in this new album.ive just listened to the whole album and theres not one song thats any good.im sorry peeps but its the truth. They`ve tried to go in a new direction and for me personally it hasnt worked what so ever.i loved their first 2 albums, they had the rock/rap element which i find awesome but theres no real sense of that in this new album.sorry guys but i wont be listening to it again

ok lets take a serious look at this. Honestly it isnt as bad as y’all are making it out to be. LP has great albums. They are taking their rock and mixing it up with different artists to make a collaboration that kicks ass. Some songs sound really good and some seem like they could have used a few more days in the studio. Overall though LP hasn’t let down their fans yet. It all depends on what you like. I know many people who loved Reanimation but hated Hybrid Theory. It all depends on what genre of music you like. The collaboration with different types of music keeps LP unique and separate from all the other played out and overrated bands of today.
Keep rockin everyone and live it up.

i just love linkin park, no matter what happens, even if there is any song “not too good” in their new album, but they’re the same linkin park, with some criticize to our hard reality (as u can c on “what i’ve done”), and it just make them more popular, cause showing the reality is a hard (but true) way to say what’s wrong in the whole world.
but “in the end” is still the best song in my opinion.
