More on the FCKGW-RHQQ2-YXRKT-8TG6W-2B7Q8!

The actual reason the key – FCKGW-RHQQ2-YXRKT-8TG6W-2B7Q8 went so crazily popular among the warez Windows XP users across the world is cause of this particular image devil’s0wn (The group which released it first, before XP even came out to public!) led to.

Image after the jump, below.

FCKGW-RHQQ2-YXRKT-8TG6W-2B7Q8 before 35 days?

Its way too funny how Microsoft gets owned each time! First this for XP, now the TimerStop T2a for Windows Vista! Go Linux!

  6. Cause this wasn’t the only one taken and no one wastes time photo-shopping to prove that Windows can be cracked when they find cracking it way easier.

  13. @harsh. Hate to break it to you, but it could still be photoshopped. Saying “one wastes time photo-shopping when it’s easier to crack doesn’t prove it’s a real pic. Why? Because it’s a very funny picture that is easy to make viral. Suppose someone think of that photo idea AFTER the launch and they want to make that funny pic? Easy. Just grab a picture of that billboard and copy in the hand and disc with some care to lighting etc. And the disc would naturally be clearer and in better focus since it is closer. I do that kind of stuff all the time. I still think it’s more likely that it’s a real pic however. But am just saying, you never know if it’s been photoshopped or not….

  14. @moonsurfer – But even if it were fake, it doesn’t deny that the release with that key did come early :)

  15. Hi, I was just looking for the key to windows and remembered fckgw as the first set of the characters that let a person install the thing. Fun, didn’t Microsoft tout the 10,000 computer on one cd key problem? I’d think there were millions installed, I’ve personally installed that code on maybe 100 systems, and thats just in high school….

  16. XP Corp Edition Keys have been “created” (or even “try-and-errored by random scan for being valid or not valid inbetween hundreds of thousands from-the-scratch-randomized key sequences by a program) that often that there are countless productkeys around meanwhile. This forced MS into creating a corp key database as well as more and more sophisticating their WGA process within Vista and Windows 7.
    XP therefore rules.

  17. The only man that Legally installed that key, died this month in Buxton Maine….
Yeah, I know that’s not where the product was “borrowed” and I know that the computer with the only sticker with that number was at a construction company in Jacksonville FL, by Netage.

    Thank you Shawn…

  18. That isn’t a Rolex watch. I looked at it closely and it’s a Seiko.

  19. It’s not photoshopped. O.E.M. (Dell, Toshiba, IBM, etc…)system builders are given the OS 3 months prior to release, to make their unattended installations.

  20. Arthur: As this is a volume key, it was never printed on a license sticker attached to a computer. So stop trolling.

  21. Is the fckgw-rhqq2-yxrkt-8tg6w-2b7q8 key something that will convert ANY version of Windows XP (home, pro, or directly intended for VLK use) into a VLK version of Windows XP? So can I like use it an UNLIMITED number of times on my Windows XP Home Edition disk to put it on as many computers as I want without activation?
