Google Adsense seems to have started displaying a small icon next to ads from websites which support Google Checkout services.

IMHO, Adsense ads are getting too cramped up with the link + description + title and now this too. Instead, they can try putting the description as a tool-tip box on hover and make space for more variety in a box instead.

According to a Microsoft spokesperson, “It has come to our attention that an unfortunate, obscure content error which includes partial nudity was included in our initial production of Halo 2 for Windows Vista. As such, we have updated the initial game packaging at retailers with a label, so customers are aware before purchasing the game. Additionally, we’ve developed an online update which can be downloaded from www.halo2.com to remove the content.”

Of all the wrongs Microsoft ends up doing, this one is by far the worst, have they been playing a lot of Hot Coffee in GTA:San Andreas ?

I wonder what could be the nudity, did they forget to dress up the aliens and that’s it? Thats the lame reason they put forth for the second delay of the ‘Games for Windows‘ title this month?

Found this cool little game ‘World of Padman‘ whilst browsing today, its based on the Quake 3 engine and is a free style comic-color influenced run around game.

The good part about the game is that its cross-platform, a bonus of being based on a Quake engine.

And no matter what OS you are on, you just need to download one package, which comes with install stuff for all Operating Systems.

Exams finished on 23rd May (Sorry for being late to update here). And its holidays till July 6th (Probably) for me.

I have no idea what am gonna do in these holidays. I had ideas of a case-mod but I don’t know how, when or where to start. I’ll probably end up learning to play a guitar instead.

I’ve completed the Spider-Man 3 VG but haven’t seen the movie yet, which I would on 29th .. Pirates of the Caribbean 3 launches 1st of June here, a week later than most other places and am planning to catch it by the first day or second if I get lucky in advance bookings. Shrek 3 is on its way here too but am not so very interested in watching Shrek 3 in the theater.

Karthik, who recently got his own domain ‘Karthiksn.com‘ is now being hosted by me (My first venture at it).

I got to extend my domain’s life by another 3 years ( Use it or not ) and got to buy 1-2 additional domains for the plans I got in my mind now .. In hardware, am looking out for a good 19″ or 20″ LCD, and would get one soon, in a month mostly. I’ll also buy a new set of speakers to replace my old 1998 ones

Anyone got ideas where and how much wireless headphones are available and cost? (In Chennai)

I saw this page a few months ago and I sure think its a very very innovative idea. Just look at it!

I found this good game called Grid Wars. Its just another 360° Space Shooter but its weird grid type graphics are lovely and much more fun than any other Space Shooter I’ve seen.

Heroes (TV Series) has just one more episode left for its first season to complete, and most of us still don’t have a clue on what’s gonna happen. Funny thing is, you like both the villain ‘Sylar‘ and the main hero ‘Peter‘ and you would wish neither dies in their confrontation which is gonna happen (as the trailers speak) in the final episode - 23. Then a season 2 takes off and I got to wait for it. (again!)

Lost is gonna end as well, not the series, just the season .. (*groan*) But its turning interesting now, cause we finally see the survivors trying to get off the island, instead of playing golf.

I can’t wait for my exams to finish and then start thinking about the case mod that’s on my mind these days. Also I’ll soon be getting a new shiny monitor to play Halo 2 (For Vista) on it
