Saw the movie today and it was very very good. In fact so good that I came out disappointed. But then, all Harry Potter movies except for the first have done that to you, or a few of you anyway. The few being the ones who’ve read the book.
I won’t go on and on about how bad they’ve executed it, but let me just tell this. A Fred and George product shown in the movie, is next shown (nearly similar) to be used by Voldemort in his fight against Dumbeldore. Heh, that was the only part I smiled at 
People going to watch it anyhow better find something to do in the first half, cause its gonna be one long and slow ride till the intermission. Am pretty sure almost all the book readers aren’t gonna like the way they’ve changed things in the movie. Agreed its got to be shorter but the critical magical elements like the Fountain, for example, was missed. And Fred and George’s escape could have been a lot better than just fireworks and that little something Voldemort copies later. 
Dumbeldore’s escape wasn’t as cool as described in the book, either. Alright, I’ll stop, go watch and enjoy.

i am going to watch the movie on thursday, coz i have school off that day. i am not exppecting too much from the movie, as the I have read the book (it always happens, and the movies have disappointing in a way, because they change critical factors.)

A trend that’s been very visible from the past two movies: Dobby and Neville. Neville always replaces Dobby’s act of good against his rules.

I forgive you Harsh , reply or not , I’ll be visiting here regularly. The 2nd movie was bearable actually , but after the 3rd , all the movies have mutialted the story…
I’m waiting for Deathly Hallows…

I’m going to the movie this Thursday or Friday. It’s released a week late here in the UAE. We should not compare the book and the movie. The book is bound to be way better, we all see the movie because:
- It’s a potter movie
- want to see the scenes that we imagined
- emma!

Hmm… going to watch it on sunday morning since my sister wants to see it too.
I actually didnt like this book personally very much so thought maybe if they included the best from the book it could have been the best movie. Last movie was crap I know but I just see these movies to see how much did they deviate from the books.

having been disappointed greatly after seeing GoF, the expectations I had for this movie were “none”. And am glad it lived upto it……
the things that felt good while reading were not even filmed I think..
the movies never feel [or rather have felt] as good as the books.. waiting eagerly for the release of “Deathly Hallows”

it’s not really that bad. i liked the pace of the movie. the initial 200 pages of the book were not really that good. i found the first half bearable and the second half electrifying. i have completely forgotten the book, so i cant compare with the movie. anywayz, all potter movies are worth a watch at least once.
one thing i found funny abt the movie…where were the main characters? they were barely noticeable…
