Harsh – figured I’d update you on what I found I got WP.com to increase the size of the avatar/gravatar.

And I figured out how to get an image in the title. I used a background picture and set the location of it. (Right now, I’ve got a little Christmas thingee going on.)

Hmm – if WP added the gravatar/avatar support, then they also set the size. I’ll try to get them to make it bigger. Thanks for the pointer.

There wasn’t Gravatar support in this theme by default actually.

Unfortunately, the sizes must be specified in the function which WordPress.com might have embedded into the theme files?

@Harsh – thanks for the answer. I’ll be checking back frequently Your CSS code has already given me some ideas

@Lucian – can you make the size of the avatar/gravatar larger? While I have figured out how to change the size in CSS, all it does is stretch the picture (I’m assuming that is because the size is set somewhere in the HTML code – at 16×16 is what I see). Thanks!

@Vivian – I don’t know of a css trick to do that yet. I edited the header.php file of the theme files to add it instead. Would comment here if I found a way to do it via CSS.

Looks very nice. I’m using the same theme, although I don’t have your CSS skills Care to share how you got that image in the title? (I’m using the WP.com version of the theme so I can’t modify the HTML.) Thanks!
