Would scare the hell out of you. Its a real deal - the Anglerfish.
Found here, its hard to actually come across one out of the oceans. They usually dwell near the sea-bed, using their small, bright angler light to attract prey. But just look at how terrifying it is, a shark wouldn’t scare you as much.
Wow. I’ve seen drawings of these in those magic school bus series when I was little. But THIS is scary.

Yes I wonder why it needs those fangs when it only preys on small fishes. Guess it grew out of laziness, or to stick itself into some whale for long distance travel.
