Kalpik – Doesn’t zoom in automatically, unless I launch mplayer with the -zoom parameter. Though SMPlayer zooms it in fine on xv, it misses out on the sound at times.

Harsh, yes, your card wont support vdpau, but i should work properly with xv!

Kalpik – I don’t have such a driver, probably cause my Nvidia card (7 series) isn’t as new as yours!

Err.. X11 is a very OLD slow driver! I use vdpau (used to use xv earlier) and it zooms just fine!
