Whoa, this is one big monster! Measures 27 cm in length, a long long card that wont fit in all the cabinets actually.
Now wait, what’s so special about this particular release by NVIDIA? Its the first DirectX 10 card to be released. Talk Vista and you will understand.
So it’s got dual display and S-Video out ports as I see, and the fan looks cool, a little off the usual design though.
Its got 681 million transistors on it, support for GDDR3 memory, 384-bit memory interface, yeah, 384! Its memory is 768 MB. And if you wish to buy a 30″ screen to play on, this card will do it for you, with ultra cool speed and no issues at the maximum detail at 2560×1600 resolution! Talk about Hi-Def lol.
But mind you, it is power hungry and mercury hot
This card’s a wall-poster for most gamers maybe, but as we know, the first newly innovated cards never perform much compared to those that follow it later on, so I’d still suggest a wait if you have the patience or lack the cash
Its gonna be remembered this way, ‘The card that had no crisis playing Crysis‘
Also, do wait for ATi to come up with something soon.
