If there’s one thing Sam Worthington (‘Avatar’, ‘Terminator Salvation’, ‘Clash of the Titans’) is good at, its flying on things and hanging onto it for dear life. And the second thing is to look serious and emotion-less.
The decision to watch Clash of the Titans for the action is one of the worse mistakes I’ve made in recent times. Worse cause I decided to watch it in 3D without visiting the review places online, or even doing any sort of research. I watched it to celebrate the end of my under-graduate project period with friends. The 3D was something that’d be the talk of the town for a while, talks on how to raze such studios and pull a KKK on the employed people.
The movie had, like most others in its genre, americanized greek mythology. Usually that doesn’t affect the battle scenes, but it does here thanks to Sam. It’s always been one man when he’s in an action movie (of those I’ve watched), and so was in this.
Wish I watched something else that day. For score’s sake let it have a 1 out of how many ever sanity points you have.
