Next page link vs. Jump links

I don’t know what it is with me but all the time, I seem to be clicking (Rather difficultly) the numbers instead of clicking the easy to click ‘Next Page’ link.

Example:

Is it just the positioning or is it something psychological?

The reason am not posting much these days (weeks? months?) is of course, due to my being busy. I usually never am so busy to neglect my own blog but this second year is pretty hectic. Keeping pace with it hardly gives me any spare time, and thanks to my early morning bus timings, I can’t be alive online at the night much either. Anyway, I’ll try to post at least once per two days from now on.

Now on to the random part, I got a lot of new music, which are: Bjork, Beck, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, The Cardigans, The Cranberries, Deftones, Groove Armada and Lenny Kravitz. Chemical Brothers and Beck are very cool stuff with their sound. I didn’t quite like Bjork, cause its electronic sound is totally weird! Lenny Kravitz and Deftones are great rock stuff and Groove Armada and Depeche Mode are normal electronic music, I didn’t find them so impressive.

In movies, I’ve seen ‘Zodiac‘ and two animated features ‘The Invincible Iron Man‘ and ‘Doctor Strange‘ in the last week. Along with that old ‘Bad Boys‘ movie (The first part) and ‘Oceans 13‘ and ‘Wild Hogs‘. I’ll blog about each of these along the week :)

Onto Academics, I always end up sleeping during my Data Structures class while the teacher takes those silly Stack, Queue and Linked List ADTs. The only part I try listening properly to is the applications of each. Seriously speaking, Data Structures is of no use to study unless you create the programs for each type of application or at least practice the basic programs. I don’t know how some people manage to pass it without knowing a damn what’s going on in it. OOP is easy but comes with a lot of cryptic definitions (Speaking in the exam’s POV)

Anyway, am now off to finish my records so I can go out later today. :(

I saw this page a few months ago and I sure think its a very very innovative idea. Just look at it!

Book Cave

I found this good game called Grid Wars. Its just another 360° Space Shooter but its weird grid type graphics are lovely and much more fun than any other Space Shooter I’ve seen.

Grid Wars

Heroes (TV Series) has just one more episode left for its first season to complete, and most of us still don’t have a clue on what’s gonna happen. Funny thing is, you like both the villain ‘Sylar‘ and the main hero ‘Peter‘ and you would wish neither dies in their confrontation which is gonna happen (as the trailers speak) in the final episode – 23. Then a season 2 takes off and I got to wait for it. (again!)

Lost is gonna end as well, not the series, just the season .. (*groan*) But its turning interesting now, cause we finally see the survivors trying to get off the island, instead of playing golf.

I can’t wait for my exams to finish and then start thinking about the case mod that’s on my mind these days. Also I’ll soon be getting a new shiny monitor to play Halo 2 (For Vista) on it :D

P.s. Here’s some stuff for the comic pervert in you.

Random again, since I got no better job these days.

Act of War by Activision is a great game in the RTS genre.

Spider-man 3 Game screenshots and videos look awesome but you still don’t get to control his good moves, its all key press sequence type even now. And that is painful… Plus, look at the system requirements…

CPU: Pentium 4/Athlon XP or better
CPU Speed: 2.8 GHz
System: RAM 1 GB for Windows 2000/XP or 1.5 GB for Windows Vista
Operating System: English version of Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000/XP/Vista
Video Card: 100% DirectX(R) 9.0c-compliant AGP/PCIe 256 MB onboard memory hardware T&L-capable video card with Shader Model 3.0 support and the latest drivers (NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT+ / ATI Radeon X1300+)
Free Disk Space 6 GB of uncompressed hard disk space (plus 600 MB for the Windows swap file)

I wonder how lovely it will be to play this on Wii…

Yeah, all this I wonder when my exams approach, lol. Won’t be posting too regularly till they get over :(

Well, we generally use “click here to download“, “click here” and “here” links don’t we?

I thought that since link-back text is counted for search ranking in engines, why not search for them itself. I guess this, this and this may give some idea on what is the most linked-to download of all or maybe most downloaded off them.

Google makes me so lazy… :P
