Disturbance in force

Just before a few hours days to the release of the overhyped ‘greatest’ book in history of jupiter earth.

Yeah right, even my blog needed a Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows spoiler news post.

Well, if you are up to date on the leak, here’s a bit of what am talking about:

The bloke who snapped off a few pictures of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and showed it off on the internet is likely to be identified because investigators can make his pictures talk.

This week the anonymous bloke or blokette took pictures of the book and posted them on the world wide wibble including the last chapter.

According to the Times, investigators have scryed into the pictures and are fairly certain they can nab the bloke wot did it. The method did not involve the sacrifice of any goats or chickens either.

Each of the photographs has metadata built into each photo. Canon says that the pics were snapped with one of its cameras. In fact it says it was a Canon Rebel 350D and the model is three years old.

This means that if the owner had the camera serviced at least once then they will have his or her name and address.

However, if the pirate didn’t have it serviced, Canon’s UK head office said it was possible to find out which country the camera was sold in and in turn the warranty.

The owner is probably from the US or Canadian because the camera was not sold anywhere else. Publisher Bloomsbury has promised to send every legal demon it knows at the offender.

Now why do I get a bad feeling that people who think they made a damn good gadget purchase 3 years ago will regret their decision?

Here’s what they’d probably get soon:
Attn: U r a prim suspct in takin pix of HP:TDH, plz srrndr fer interrgtn. kthxbai.
Damn lolcat, doesn’t leave my mind.

Harry Potter

Saw the movie today and it was very very good. In fact so good that I came out disappointed. But then, all Harry Potter movies except for the first have done that to you, or a few of you anyway. The few being the ones who’ve read the book.

I won’t go on and on about how bad they’ve executed it, but let me just tell this. A Fred and George product shown in the movie, is next shown (nearly similar) to be used by Voldemort in his fight against Dumbeldore. Heh, that was the only part I smiled at :P

People going to watch it anyhow better find something to do in the first half, cause its gonna be one long and slow ride till the intermission. Am pretty sure almost all the book readers aren’t gonna like the way they’ve changed things in the movie. Agreed its got to be shorter but the critical magical elements like the Fountain, for example, was missed. And Fred and George’s escape could have been a lot better than just fireworks and that little something Voldemort copies later.

Dumbeldore’s escape wasn’t as cool as described in the book, either. Alright, I’ll stop, go watch and enjoy. :)

I saw this page a few months ago and I sure think its a very very innovative idea. Just look at it!

Book Cave

I found this good game called Grid Wars. Its just another 360° Space Shooter but its weird grid type graphics are lovely and much more fun than any other Space Shooter I’ve seen.

Grid Wars

Heroes (TV Series) has just one more episode left for its first season to complete, and most of us still don’t have a clue on what’s gonna happen. Funny thing is, you like both the villain ‘Sylar‘ and the main hero ‘Peter‘ and you would wish neither dies in their confrontation which is gonna happen (as the trailers speak) in the final episode – 23. Then a season 2 takes off and I got to wait for it. (again!)

Lost is gonna end as well, not the series, just the season .. (*groan*) But its turning interesting now, cause we finally see the survivors trying to get off the island, instead of playing golf.

I can’t wait for my exams to finish and then start thinking about the case mod that’s on my mind these days. Also I’ll soon be getting a new shiny monitor to play Halo 2 (For Vista) on it :D

P.s. Here’s some stuff for the comic pervert in you.

For Calvin and Hobbes readers …

A treat, of the infamous snowmen Calvin builds during his Winter.

Some people have made real life models of the same scenes as drawn by Bill Watterson in his absolutely cool comic strip!

You can find tons more of such side by side photos here.

And Spidey’s finally back in black!

leave a comment

Yeah! Just as announced, for promotion of the movie, Spider-Man comics is going black again. But it isn’t the Symbiotic suit, just a similar looking suit Peter Parker makes for stealth missions based on the Symbiotic design.

Spectacular Spider-Man #35 Cover - Back In Black!

I just can’t wait to see the movie Spider-Man 3, the biggest budget movie ever made! And probably the last Spider-Man movie of this generation.
